Each year, Aberdeen hosts a spectacular festival of light called Spectra. Now in its fourth year, Spectra was hosted across 5 sites and 4 nights with 63,000 visits. Artists from all over the world created work which was placed in Union Terrace Gardens, St Nicholas Kirk, St Nicholas Rooftop and Marischal College.

A light festival is a great chance to experiment with new techniques, play with different settings and get creative. Not all these images work but it was fun to try new things and see the effect it had on the image.
