Earlier today I launched a new project called If You Go Down To The Woods Today… This is a major project running for just over a year, documenting a community woodland on the edge of Stonehaven. I want to explore the people and wildlife that call Dunnottar Woods home by using a variety of techniques such as timelapse, photography, video and sound recording to help reconnect the community with the woodland on their doorstep.

For the project to happen I need to raise a fair bit of money and I’m hoping to raise a bit of that through crowdfunding. There’s an Indiegogo page that tells you more about the project and you can back it for a range of different rewards. I’m also hoping to get sponsorship from local businesses (get in touch if you might be interested in this!).

This is an ambitious and unique multimedia project which will culminate in an exhibition within the woods themselves. It’s a chance to document Stonehaven’s living history and our natural history. Please support the project by donating what you can or sharing the Indiegogo page far and wide!
